Let’s Talk a Little Bit About Trust

“The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, not the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Congratulations on making it through week three of our 30-Day Friendship Challenge!

This message sent in from IG sums up how I feel about this entire challenge:
“Participating in this friendship challenge taught me to expect as much as I am willing to give in my relationships and I deserve to be surrounded by women who bring out the best in me.” – anonymous
TRUTH!

Some people believe that the best things in life are free. While that may be true, the most valuable things in life are worth the investment.

Many times we see the value in investing in our careers or investing in our money but can’t see the value in investing in our relationship with ourselves and others.

A huge part of this friendship challenge is opening your eyes to the quality of the relationships that are nearest to you. Why? Because your friendships are a huge part of your legacy.

Your peers, or great girlfriends, are powerful players in your life picture. Your relationships can make or break your dreams, your romantic relationships, your money, your career, and everything else that you value.

When you choose your friends, you are choosing the vessels through which your story unfolds, as each friend is a character in your life’s script.
